WEST KIRBY RAIL STATION

West Kirby Railway Station’s concrete canopy was originally built as part of a programme of works during the electrification of the train line in the late 1930s. Featuring a series of skylights and a concrete/timber deck, the canopy was showing signs of failure and began to leak.

MCVITIES, HARLESDEN

McVitie’s biscuits have been enjoyed by generations for around 160 years, with the launch of firm favourites like the Chocolate Digestive in 1925 and the Hobnob in 1985. In fact over 71 million packets of Chocolate Digestives are consumed in the UK each year. The Harlesden factory was built in 1901 and is the largest biscuit factory in Europe, producing 27 million biscuits every day. United Biscuits owns a number of properties across the UK and were looking for a roof waterproofing solution that could be applied to different substrates, allowing a uniform product offer across the whole property portfolio.
